Good afternoon, world! This has been a very busy week! Since I had Monday off, Mom and I went to see Phantom of the Opera, which I REALLY enjoyed! I was given the original soundtrack featuring Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman, for Christmas when I was in seventh grade, and I instantly fell in love with it. It is one of my absolute favorite musicals of all times, second only to Les Miserables. The movie was wonderful, and is one that I highly recommend!!!

Work at Lake Dallas ISD is the same. It is getting close to TAKS, so we will be getting a whole bunch of referrals before then, I'm sure. David came up there and ate lunch with me last Friday, that was really great! Everyone at Special Ed. enjoyed meeting him! They've been hearing me talk about him since August, so it was nice that they got to finally meet the face with the name.

Church stuff is going great! We attended a Sunday school class today, which I really enjoyed. We then met the youth pastor for lunch afterwards, that was a lot of fun. I think David was amused at how Leanne and I giggle together a lot. We went to this really great pizza place, and a good time was had by all!

I have a bunch of wedding updates on the wedding site, but David is having problems with the server, so they aren't showing up. They will soon!

Good afternoon! Happy New Year! (Okay, so I'm a week late. Oh well, better late than never!) 2005 is starting out good so far! I had a nice break from school, and last week I had to get back into the swing of things. This past year went by so fast! A lot of really great things happened last year, and this year will be even better!

Becky came into town on Saturday, she spent the night at our house. We had a great time catching up on things, and even watched old band videos from high school. Now I realize that is kind of a dorky thing to do, but we enjoyed it! I also got her hooked on Mark Schultz music! Becky also got to meet David for the first time. They've both been hearing me talk about the other for so long, so it was neat that they finally got to meet! I took her to church with us on Sunday, that was neat too. It was a great time!

Last week also started back up with band and choir rehearsal. Oh! I was reading one of the church newletters a couple weeks ago, and it had a picture of the choir singing at the Christmas concert. Wouldn't you know it, I had a mic stand going across my face in the picture. That is SO typical. It was a good pic of the choir, though. It was good to be back at both rehearsals. I was having thoughts about taking a break from the band, but we'll see if I actually do that.

This week will probably be another routine week, for the most part. At least I am expecting it to be. I am taking David to get his wisdom teeth pulled on Thursday morning. Friday night will be Girl's Night Out with Heather! I also found out that A Hard Night's Day is playing on Saturday night in Frisco. I think it would be fun to go see them, but we might go dancing instead. Speaking of dancing, I bought my own pair of boots yesterday. Also a shirt and some jeans. I wanted a nice button down shirt, but didn't want one that made me look like I was starring on Hee-Haw or singing at the Grand Ole' Opry. I was excited about finding jeans that were pretty close to fitting me! The boots I bought were lace-up boots, that I found in the children's department. Yay for having small feet, I guess. That meant they were about half the price of the ladies' boots I saw. Now I'm ready to go dancing!
