I hope you bookmark the site and enjoy the stories! I will also add the stories that are already on here, as well as when I first started! Visit the site here! Enjoy!

Yesterday, the Frisco Community Band performed at the Great Steak of Texas. It's a celebration of the cattle industry, and it was neat! I met up with other band members at the high school to load equipment. Unfortunately, the marching band took all the percussion equipment. The other percussionist brought his drum set, so he was okay. Unfortunately, that left nothing for me to play! Luckily, the director had a key to the storage unit and found an old set of vibes and some crash cymbals. I was good to go!
The venue was nice and as musicians, we got in free! I got to browse a little bit before our performance, I thought it was a lot of fun. We played well, and the percussion section was in the shade, that made it really nice! After the concert, we talked to the director and the band president about buying some auxiliary percussion for the band!
The rest of the day was spent running here and there. Part of the day was spent with Mom, part of it with Heather, and part of it by myself! When I got home last night, I was checking my e-mail and I had a message from another church member. We had been talking about forming a band to play at different church events. We now have at least one gig, possibly two!
We will be performing at the Pumpkin Patch at the end of the month. I'm really excited about it! The band will consist of three guitarists, with yours truly on the drums! We're going to rehearse on Saturday afternoons (except for next Saturday) before the Saturday evening service. One of the guys had an electronic drum kit that he gave me. I set it up and tried it out this afternoon, and I really like it!
Totally unrelated: I updated our site today!
