I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I have a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. I have worked as a youth counselor, mentor, & adviser for youth groups for over 15 years. I truly believe that children are a gift we should cherish and nurture on a daily basis. This should be accomplished by parents, family members, churches, and yes, even counselors.

In addition, my experience includes working with abused and neglected children at the Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center in Plano I have also work with CITY (Collin Intervention to Youth) House Family Center in Plano where I counseled youth and their families dealing with physical and emotional crisis. I also have experience from Collin County MHMR d.b.a. LifePath Systems working with clients dealing with more severe clinically diagnosed mental health diagnosis.

I strongly believe that children are good persons who need help to work through what choices they make and the consequences of those choices. I look forward to working with you and your child in managing life together.

My name is Ron Hodgkiss and I have been a resident of Frisco for 10+ years. I live here with my wonderful wife of over 15 years, our two sons, dog, and two cats. I am active in my church, Boy Scouts of America, and the Frisco Miracle League. I enjoy watching my oldest play in his school band, watching my youngest playing baseball, and trying to convince my wife to let me have a motorcycle.
